Telecommunication Apprentice for Ground Service
DSRI is looking for motivated individuals that would like to build a career in the Telecommunication Industry. Job Responsibility :

As Qualified Telecommunication Apprentice GS, assignment will be on Small Cell; Civil; Power Plant; Generator; Integrator.

Job Requirements :

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older with valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background test, and DOT physical if required to drive.
  • Must be fit to sit, stand, bend, walk, drive or ride in a truck for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach, grasp and climb with both hands.
  • Must be able to travel up to 100% for weeks at a time required.
  • Flexible with work shift, to include maintenance window and weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with stringent attention to safety.

Experienced Tower Technician 1
We are hiring experienced tower climbers who have technical expertise and solid understanding of the wireless industry. No green hands. Successful Completion of Recertification Class which includes Tower/Rescue; First Aid/BBP and CPR; PPE Use and Requirements; LOTO (Lockout-tagout); RF Awareness; Rigging; GHS (Globally Harmonized System); Special Equipment (aerial lift, forklift, backhoe, capstan among others); OSHA Training; DSRI On-Boarding and Protocols.

Job Responsibility :

Experienced Tower Technician 1 will support the Lead Tower Hand when working top side and support the Tower Foreman on ground. More than 50% of the time is spent with onsite climbing cell towers working at heights up to 300 feet to perform tower construction activities such as but not limited to: Assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines; Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, bend, assemble and erect all components necessary for lifting, moving, and installing equipment and/or materials; Interpret various documents such as but not limited to: Blueprints, Diagrams, Manufacturer Specifications.

Other tasks may be assigned as deemed necessary. The physical demand of the job includes lifting and carrying heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading materials and equipment in warehouse and construction sites; being in 50 to 300 feet up in the air for extended periods of time; climbing and maintaining balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.

Eye/hand/feet coordination crucial.

Job Requirements :

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older with valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background test.
  • Proficient understanding of Safety, Color Coding, Weather Proofing, Grounding, Equipment Installations, Testing and Troubleshooting among others.
  • Advanced understanding of rigging.
  • Connector install experience.
  • Coax, fiber routing and handling experience.
  • Top and bottom side grounding experience.
  • Must be able to climb 1,000 vertical feet per day.
  • Must follow all State and Federal Safety Regulations.
  • Has the ability to perform Tower Rescues.
  • Must be able to provide copy of Industry Certifications.
Field Telecom Technical Support

Job Responsibility :

This position will be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) Support for presales activities. Job duties include planning the implementation of product configuration and integration, executing product configuration and integration work, preparing acceptance test and handover to customers, performing LTE 2C L700 power upgrade and integration of Ericsson equipment, installation and alarms troubleshooting, identifying and driving improvements, and performing post-project activities and core competencies.

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalence) in Electronic Engineering.
  • One Year related experience in Telecommunications or related engineering field such as Computer Engineering.
  • One Year experience in maintenance, troubleshooting of voice communications network equipment, working with Cisco Routing, Switching and Networking protocols.

1). Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent*) in Electronic Engineering.
2).Telecommunications or related engineering field such as Computer Engineering and one (1) year related experience

Special Skill / Requirements :

One year experience in maintenance, troubleshooting of voice communications network equipment; working with Cisco Routing, Switching, and Networking protocols.
