As Qualified Telecommunication Apprentice GS, assignment will be on Small Cell; Civil; Power Plant; Generator; Integrator.
Experienced Tower Technician 1 will support the Lead Tower Hand when working top side and support the Tower Foreman on ground. More than 50% of the time is spent with onsite climbing cell towers working at heights up to 300 feet to perform tower construction activities such as but not limited to: Assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines; Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, bend, assemble and erect all components necessary for lifting, moving, and installing equipment and/or materials; Interpret various documents such as but not limited to: Blueprints, Diagrams, Manufacturer Specifications.
Other tasks may be assigned as deemed necessary. The physical demand of the job includes lifting and carrying heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading materials and equipment in warehouse and construction sites; being in 50 to 300 feet up in the air for extended periods of time; climbing and maintaining balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.
Eye/hand/feet coordination crucial.
This position will be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) Support for presales activities. Job duties include planning the implementation of product configuration and integration, executing product configuration and integration work, preparing acceptance test and handover to customers, performing LTE 2C L700 power upgrade and integration of Ericsson equipment, installation and alarms troubleshooting, identifying and driving improvements, and performing post-project activities and core competencies.
